“All that matters at the end of the day is that we’re married.” Those have been Robin’s words for the last several months. I loved that she cared about the wedding details, but didn’t obsess over them. All that truly mattered to her was that she was married to her best friend! Well, now she is! Robin and I have been friends for about two years. Though I had only met JC briefly at a party last year, he’s a friend now. I was honored to be their photographer!
So, wedding day … she and some of her close girlfriends (I’m blessed to be among those friends) met up the morning of the wedding to help her celebrate with breakfast and BOTTOMLESS mimosas! Good way to start the day! 😉 We met just down from the church in downtown Franklin at a cute place called 55 South. I wasn’t actually “on the clock” for this part, but couldn’t help grabbing a couple shots to document the day.
Then on to the church … let’s just say it’s a good thing we could walk over!
Photos weren’t allowed during the ceremony, so they chose to do a “first look” … meaning we carve out some private time for them to see each other for the first time … well, mostly private … I’m there too. Then we do all photos before the ceremony. We brought JC into the parlor of the church, where he waited to see his bride. When she entered, there may or may not have been tears … I won’t tell! They prayed together before seeing each other … LOVED it!
Husband and wife …
It was a beautiful wedding! YOU GUYS are beautiful!
