Nashville Paw Magazine

Nashville Paw Magazine is “Middle Tennessee’s award-winning resource for pet lovers and the animal welfare community!” As dog mom to our two rescues, Jack and Morgan, I’m proud to associate myself with a group of people who is “deeply committed to making a positive difference for the animals in our community.”

Here’s some fun news: In June, they asked their 50,000 readers to vote for the best of Nashville’s pet community.  I’m excited to say that the October/November issue announces that Jen Wood Photography is a local favorite and won a Nashville Paw Readers’ Choice Award for one of the top three in the category “Best Pet Photographer.”

One thing I love about the Paw is that each issue features adoptable pets.  The magazine covers are not JUST cute pets, they’re pets who are in need of good homes. I failed to mention this before, but I shot the cover for the August/September issue. Of course, I’m late telling anyone about it … the October/November issue is out now.  But you can see it here, and if you absolutely must have a copy, you can purchase a copy from their archives.

Finally, mark your calendars … on November 19th, Nashville Paw Magazine presents the 3rd Annual Art for Animals. Proceeds will benefit Fix for Life.  This art gallery show and auction will feature a variety of original work by more than 20 local artists (and yes, I will be donating several pieces for the auction). Here’s the scoop:

I hope to see you there!
